Check Deez Dcup's

Hey!

So this being my first post, should introduce myself.
My names Emoh, I'm a DJ/Producer based in Sydney.
I play under the tastless moniker "Elmo is Dead"
Thanks to the Smidgen boy's for getting me on board!

Now to music...
2 Producer/Dj's i've been following for quite a while now; Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP.
Long before their "americano" stardom, DCUP was pumping out a New Disco remix just about every week, dominating the beatport charts.
And Yolanda's Afro Nut's tune, was getting play time from the likes of Surkin, Fake Blood & many more.

I think the two paired together make an amazing combination.
DCUP's phenomenal melodic, 80's Disco synth lines & stabs, combined with Yolanda's solid, contemporary tribal/house.
The result is a club banger with amazing groove, flow and feel.

Check out their Sing Sing Dub;
Jazzbit - Sing Sing Sing (Yolanda Be Cool & Dcup Dub)
A really cool track. The Transposed vocal lines are wicked, great kick & sub pattern & of course Dcup jumping in on the sax for a few riffs & stabs.

Another track of a similar nature is their Hey Hey remix;
Dennis Ferrer - Hey Hey (Yolanda Be Cool & Dcup Remix).mp3
Same Idea, awesome groove and a transposed vocal as the main theme.

If your in for something a little heavier, check out this mix of Americano;
Yolanda Be Cool & Dcup - We no Speak Americano (Elmo is Dead 'Live from Sydney' Remix)
Big Dutch/house synths, on a tribal groove with, a thumping kick & base.

I really feel these guy’s are going to be at the four-front of the club scene as we head into summer.
They’ve managed to appropriate Ibiza styled house music to the electro/disco market of Australia.
So money..

Peace!
Emoh
