Stereosonic 2012 Sydney.

I think he actually tore my legs off during his set i'm actually not a midget

What a fucking wknd it was. Actually that good i have to brag about it ;) I attended Stereosonic Music festival (Sydney) on Saturday along with 60,000 + other party goers. The line up was so massive it looked like something from Coachella, EDC, Hard Festival something us Aussies look at and go, why cant a festival like that happen here. Well it finally did and went down as the best festival to ever hit the shores of Aus. To make this day even better good friends GO FREEK  Aka Caleb Crinis & Ruslan Epoff (Who played a killer set in the V tent) hooked up a backstage VIP/All access pass for the day, So i spent most of the day Rubbing shoulders with some of my favourite artists such as Diplo, Dillon Francis, Calvin Harris, Example, Flux Pavillion, Mr Oizo, Brodinski, Gesaffelstein (My Idol) ,Excision and that's actually just to name a few. Kicking back in the Artist Lounge taking full advantage of the open bar not to mention a few cheeky games of Ping Pong and Air Hockey there was no need to walk anywhere, golf buggy escorts took care of that. Chilling on stage sipping a bottle of Bellvader watching Gesaffelstein tear the Hard La stage to bits is something i will never forget. Set of the day i must say has to go to Brodinski. To actually see this guy play from behind the decks was an honor he is a fucking machine. And also to see the Bromance take place :). Big shout out to What So Not and Jorris Vorn to who both played a epic set..
This is a short clip my mate La Dooda shot of the day take a look.

This is a must watch

Burning Man

In this incredible photograph we see a skydiver looking upward before his descent to the Burning Man Festival. Now in its 26th year, the annual festival takes place on the playa of Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. More than 50,000 participants attended this year’s gathering, where a temporary city forms (Black Rock City).

Cool edit of Burning Man 2012.

Jamie Jones just cruising the santa sleigh. This looks fun..

Melbourne Massive

Im pointing my finger at Melbourne to be the party mecca of Aus rite now. Seriously so much gold tunage coming out with everything Techno, Tech house, Jakin house and all things booty bounce. The amount of local talent is coming at you quicker than a shark on a skateboard (Picture that). Here are a few dj/producers that are really ripping the scene apart.

Wellsaid & Rubberteeth. These blokes kill it on there own but when they team up beat babies are born. CORRECTION - These 2 guys are actually from Adelaide

Parachute youth-cant get better than this (WellSaid 'get shakey' edit)

Metric -Monster Hospital (Rubberteeth & WellSaid Remix)

Digga Please or as his friends may know him Jesse Diggins. From Mixtapes, Bootys, and a shitload of remixes if your not on the wagon your fucking kidding yourself. So do yourself a favour and jump on..

This is his second installment to the long list of CrackHaus mixtapes. If this doesnt get a party started i don't think anything will..

Goes by the name Peggy-Sue! I Dont no much about this young 20yr old hes from Rural Vic. Like prawns in the sun his beats go off.

Another of the Crackhaus mixtapes. This time Peggy-Sue takes the reigns. This mix features a heap of the local talent..

We featured a guy a few weeks back named Torren Foot (Boss) who made a banging mixtape with this guy. His name is is Nick Kennedy

Droplex v. Savage (Nick Kennedy Mash) Download link

Up next is Heavy Hitter 'HEY SAM' Aka Sammy Heywood. Owner and Co founder of Jump To This Records.

His most recent mixtape recorded live at Revolver.

Chris Comito and Bowen Luc. With their powers combined they for a duo named COMBO! Now this is a name to remember and definitely not forget. Think Electro vs Tech House.

Im a massive fan of Die Antwood (mmm Yo-Landi). When i saw this track had a remix duty by a guy named Dom Dolla, a guy i had never herd of before i was like ahhh yeah ill give it a listen. And im glad i did. Dom Dolla is a melbourne based Dj/Producer and has some really cool tunes check him out.

Swit. If you haven't herd of him before well now you have. Born in NZ now ripping clubs apart in Melbs. Show this guy some love or you may just end up in a hungy hole..

Clockwork Titan Remix EP

Clockwork – Titan Remix EP comes out digitally next Tuesday Nov. 20th via Mad Decent.
“Titan”, the stadium sized 2nd single from Clockwork gets the remix treatment from some of todays hottest producers. The package includes remixes from Congorock, GTA, Moska, The Partysquad and remix contest winners Coyote Kisses! Congorock does what he does best and raises “Titan” to new heights with the biggest build of the bunch. The Partysquad transform Titan into their signature badman rave style of gabber, dutch and electro. Moska transforms the drops just enough to turn crowds upside down and contest winners Coyote Kisses deliver the now crucial trap version. Miami’s GTA round out the release taking on the duties of remixing “Titan’s” monster B-side “BBBS”. They’ve completely flipped the beat and thrown in some of the wildest synth stabs we’ve ever heard.

Last Magpie -1995

This latest EP from Last Magpie somehow stayed out of my radar until today. With his first EP No More Stories making quite a large splash, he successfully backed up the hype on the follow up (Who knows) Where Love Goes ,while this release did drift a little towards more of a house sound instead of the straight up garage sounds of the debut, the quality remained sky high, and even landed him a spot in the much much respected RA monthly charts.

With this EP ,it seems the Magpie has flown into another tree and experimented a little more on the bass side of things. And going from the teaser below its a step in the right direction again. Cant wait to cop this.

Here are the teasers from his previous releases also, they only cost a few bucks so if your like what your hearing skip your coffee in the morning and put the $3.50 towards keeping this guy putting out amazing music.
