Songs on Tuesday!

Been abit slack on the posts lately, none the less heres a bunch of good tracks.

This has been floating around my itunes for sometime now,and always seems to have the same effect of me.Belgian duo Voltronixx are known to blow a speaker or 2 (as are many other Belgians). But what they have done on this track is Fucking amazing. An absolute belter of an electro track that somehow manages to make you want to just jump off the edge of a cliff and start flying like an eagle. No Shit!

Voltronixx-Spilled Time YESSSS!
One of the most hyped artists of 2010 was undoubtedly James Blake. His futuristic dub sounds on the "CMYK" Ep recieved him worldwide praise and even managed to score him 8th place on Pitchforks best albums of 2010 (Not to shabby for a 4 song ep).
I definitely put him high up on the list alongside similar artists like Flying Lotus & Teebs. His debut full length is due out in February.Cop That!

James Blake -Cmyk

The party never stops with Dirtybird, their bouncy take on tech-house is unmatched.
Claude Vonstroke and Christian Martin keep tradition going strong here.Try Not to dance to this one.

Claude Vonstroke & Christian Martin- Peanut Butter Jelly Time

A guy named Tiga, quite the esteemed electronic music connoisseur recently put out a December podcast where he shows some new music he has been digging. During this podcast "It" band Azari and III (also from Tigas Turbo imprint) get a remix from New York native Nicolas Jaar, who has been turning some heads as of late. Such a simple looped piano sequence gives this song a whole new direction.

Azari & III - Into The Night (Nicolas Jaar)
Tiga December Podcast

Not too familiar with this next guy,but this song is ffffucking hot!!! Awesome house music here, with a sprinkle of soul and a dark grooving bassline that comes in at around 1:15.

Russ Yallop -I cant wait

And lastly, abit more of some experimental stuff. In my opinion one of the best albums released in 2010 was Gold Pandas Lucky Shiner, there was alot of hype behind this release and in my opinion it lived all the way up to it.Taking glitchy samples and infusing some pop elements I think this was the best track on the album.
Oh yeah, and he is currently touring Australia.

Gold Panda- You

Yo!

WTF

First up,comes probably my favourite artist amongst todays scene of twisted basslines. Figure, scooped up last year by Tommie Sunshine, has been on fire as of late, dropping some impressive bootlegs, remixes and most importantly, originals. I find each of his works distinctly different, which can be hard to achieve when dealing in the world of sludge filled basslines.Figure...big things coming.

Public Enemy- Night Of The Living Bass Heads (Figure Remix)

Claude Vonstroke, the name need no introduction in the dance music world.I heard a mash up that A-trak did of this with a while back and to be honest, it made me cringe. And I concluded that Vocal Chords should never be touched.Until I heard this superb remix that Australian lads, Coupons had done. While still keeping the haunting atmosphere of the original, they turned this into a feel good euphoric wall of sound with an amazing breakdown.Love it.

Claude Vonstroke- Vocal Chords (Coupons remix)

Its D.I.M. , you know this is going to be good.

Demon - I Think (D.I.M Remix)

When it comes to dreamy blissful sounds, Teen Daze are on top of the game,They dropped an amazing LP a few weeks back and judging by various reviews, things are only looking up for these guys.Close your eyes and let this take you away.

Local Natives- Wide Eyes (Teen Daze Remix)

Lastly, something epic. Now, I am forewarning females, (no disrespect to our female counterparts) if you hear this song coming in over the speakers, I would vacate the dancefloor immediately, because there is a good chance the males in the crowd will start throwing chairs and acting like primitive cavemen when this number hits its peak. Sounds like this remix was inspired by Mr Oizo's works. I get the feeling these guy are going to get big.

B.R.U.C.E. -The Wallet (TWR72 Remix)
