Skrillex went down to Mexico to celebrate the “end of the world” last year accompanied by some of his best friends 12th Planet, Zedd, Nadastorm and created “Skrillex in Mexico” to remember the historical occasion. They took over 4 cities Monterrey, Mexico City, Puebla and Guadalajara causing absolute chaos. Diplo and Skrillex team up to form Jack U

Back when Skrillex, Diplo and A-Trak were teasing “Potato Will Eat You,” many speculated that their cryptic messages were hinting at a new supergroup being formed. “Potato” turned out to be a YouTube video channel that houses content from three of EDM’s most outspoken icons, leaving many satisfied but still mildly disappointed.  Now it appears that two of the three are forming a collaboration for the record books as the Skrillex/Diplo duo Jack U. The name Jack U first appeared on Mad Decent’s Block Party 2013 lineup.

Good Morning Mix – Claude VonStroke’s Back To The Island Mix

This summer, the Dirtybird crew will be traveling from San Francisco to Ibiza for a highly anticipated residency at Sankeys Ibiza. Their club night doesn’t kick off until June 27th, but labelhead Claude VonStroke gives listeners a peek with his aptly titled Back To The Island Mix. The bass-heavy set is short, but packs a groovy enough punch to lift our spirits and keep us pressing replay. Busta Rhymes samples Daft Punk’s ‘Technologic’ for ‘Touch It’

Dating back to 2005, Busta Rhymes found the duo’s “Technologic” to sample for the lead single from his album The Big Bang. Produced by Swizz Beats, “Touch It” contains a snippet of the original’s vocal, used as the chorus to support Busta’s verses. Properly crediting Thomas and Guy-Man, “Touch It” is one of the few noteworthy Daft Punk samplings in hip-hop.
